Growing Number of Canadians Support Internet Voting

Recently released data from polling firm Ekos suggests that a growing number of Canadians support the use of Internet voting in federal elections. According to the data 57 percent of Canadians would vote online if it was offered in the next federal election. That number is up from 49 percent who answered affirmatively to the same question in 2009. Internet voting is already widely used in the municipal sector, with 97 different municipalities using it in the 2014 election. online-voting
